This concept suggests that repetitive, low-quality, or fear-mongering content can have a deleterious effect on the mind, subtly influencing viewers to become more passive, anxious, or dependent on external sources for validation and direction. Some conspiracy theorists believe that this is a deliberate strategy by media conglomerates or even government entities to keep the population subdued and distracted. While this idea might seem far-fetched, the notion that media can influence behavior and mental health is well-documented, leading some to wonder if there’s more truth to the “Vampire Media” theory than meets the eye.
