Manatees Are Humans

THEORY

A joke theory posited by Elain Morgane to satirise the overlyspecualtive and authoritative evolutionary theories she observed at the time from authors such as Desmond Morris &c. Part of this was suggesting that manatees were related to humans, perhaps a species of ape which remained in the water. I’m a big defender of Morganes work as scientific critique but in itself this theory doesn’t hold up as the fossil record of manatee evolution is well known.
