Henotheism is the belief in and worship of one god while accepting the existence of other deities. It is distinct from monotheism, which worships only one god, and polytheism, which worships multiple gods equally. In conspiracy circles, henotheism is sometimes linked to theories about ancient religions and their influence on modern secret societies, where certain deities are revered above others in esoteric rituals.
