The reason God doesn’t interact with humanity anymore is because we’re an unwanted child created when he was raped, there’s more to it than that, biblical evidence etc. In the story of Sodom God visits the city in the form of an angel. The angel is grabbed by three men and almost trapped but his is freed. However earlier translations of the Biblical texts suggest that the angel was actually raped and that this traumatic incident was the source if God furiously destroying the cities and cause him to abandon man altogether.
