Saturn also has a hexagonal storm on one of its poles. It is astonishing that the hexagon/hexagram have been used to denote Saturn since ancient times. How did these people know to associate the hexagon with Saturn? I strongly urge you to consider that this is not a coincidence. The hexagon is also a 2D representation of a cube. The cube is a very important symbol as it is a Platonic solid (Earth) and is featured in the iconography of many religions. Most notably has the Kabaa in Islam and the Tefillin in Judaism. It is also interesting that if you “unfold” a cube you can make a cross.
