In 2006, the BBC News famously interviewed a man they believed to be technology expert Guy Kewney. However, due to a mix-up, the interviewee was actually a taxi driver named Guy Goma who was there for a different reason entirely. The moment became viral, but the unaired portions of the interview and the full footage of Goma’s reactions have never been released. The lost footage is rumored to contain more of Goma’s confusion and the production team’s frantic attempts to rectify the situation.
