Not sure, but the only thing I know that sounds close to this is this one story from I think from GP or some other forum. There was some sailor or navy guy back when Serbia was part of Yugoslavia who came up to this shore. But Serbia’s a landlocked country so he technically landed in modern day Croatia probably. He lands, and he sees these statues atop this one hill, all of them with horrified expressions. There’s also a dinner table there for some fucking reason, with food still on it. He said he couldn’t shake off the feeling that they looked like real people. Their terrified faces just looked too genuine. Said he wanted to take one but it was too damn heavy.
