Devices that invert the subject-object relation. instead of feeling oneself in a body isolated within the infinite sea of time and space, you become that sea, and nothing is obscure to you but a region of space roughly corresponding to your old body. you are omniscient except for a black box at the heart of you, whereas now you are (relatively) omniscient within your body, but the world is an insoluble mystery beyond your skin. this is in fact an alternative ontological syntax, a different way of being that actually “exists” outside your frame. how these “beings” would organize a society we could not even begin to communicate to you.
