Bran Castle

Level 3

Bran Castle, located in Romania near the border of Transylvania, is famously known as “Dracula’s Castle.” Despite its association with the legend of Dracula, the historical figure Vlad the Impaler never ruled over it, though he may have been imprisoned there. The castle, built in the 14th century as a defensive stronghold, later became a royal residence and is now a museum drawing in thousands of visitors each year due to its eerie reputation and Gothic architecture.
